Welcome Cubs Fans!

This blog will discuss the 1980s and the baseball card collecting hobby, with a focus on the Chicago Cubs. Contrary to vintage baseball cards, the majority of modern cards are affordable. The various sets will be considerably simpler to obtain. So, with thousands of cards in between, we'll start with 80 Topps and end with 89 Upper Deck. The apex of this period was represented by the Sandberg Rookie of the Year in 1983.

    Hey man, Im trying to put this 60 Relics set together with all of the different variation relics for each player and noticed that you say you have come across 41 different for the cubs players, I counted mine, I think I only have 26 or so. I was wondering if there was any chance you could help me out and let me know which ones are out there so that i know which ones I am missing. Thanks in advance for any help!

      Thanks a lot man! I wasnt counting all of the white jerseys! I tried to get the ones with pinstripes and count that as a white one too, but i guess technically they are different, Im going to get those as well! Thanks again!

    I also just found one of the Aramis Ramirez Series 1 Jersey dirty pinstripe!
